- Note that a failed chip may also be the problem. My friend's 3000
- had a abd rev 00-04 in it, which locked the bus up with even one
- SCSI drive hooked up, but for testing worked fine with a rev 00-02
- in it.

- I support Bob on this, if only that anyone with a pre 00-08 should
- have a rev 00-08 sitting in a drawer for future use. You may not
- find these chips so easy to find in a few more years.
